It only seems appropriate that there should be no other person than Whitney Houston’s own daughter to play a role in her tribute for this year’s 2012 Billboard Awards. It has not been reported on how Bobbi Kris will pay tribute to her mom but she has confirmed to do the job.

The Houston family is also getting ready for the cameras this summer. The family is planning to debut a new reality show sometime in the near future. Wonder how it will be.

The Billboard Awards happens this Sunday 8pm on ABC.

Rumors have been going around that singer Teyana Taylor would be signing to Kanye West’s label G.O.O.D Music and it looks like it’s true! It was announced today that she signed to the label. 

Taylor was featured on Kanye’s last album My Beautiful Dark Twisted Family and released a mixtape in March titled The Misunderstandings of Teyana Taylor. 

Alicia Keys recently sat down on Lifetime’s new show ‘The Conversation’, produced by Demi Moore, and opens up about motherhood, body image issues and being marriend. As you know Keys is married to super producer Swizz Beatz and the two have a one year old son named Egypt.

Check out some excerpts below.

On her body image
Well, I think that we as females are like the most beautiful, gorgeous creatures on the world and I think that we’re gorgeous no matter what size that we are. In fact, I personally think that we are more beautiful when we are a bit thicker, bigger and more robust. I just think it’s gorgeous. Even seeing older sculptures from past centuries and you see the women very thick and very beautiful and I personally, think it’s really, really gorgeous. I’m grateful that I actually feel like that because I think that a lot of us feel as though we have to be some little, tiny size in order to be beautiful. It’s like, we’re beautiful not because of what size we are, we’re beautiful because of how your mind works and you’re beautiful because you have this gorgeous heart and that comes from way more than you fitting in some size two dress. And we’re beautiful because of all these things that come up and tumble out of us and that’s beautiful because I just always feel like I love being a woman. I really love it.

Then there’s the other side of being body consciousness, age consciousness, which I think is another one ridiculously pressed upon women, whereas men can become old, refined and gray and they are suddenly so handsome. But a woman becomes gray and she’s old and that’s so not true.

What I’ve noticed is that I find almost an obsession with older women because there’s like a confidence level there I really look forward to achieving.

On how her body has changed after she had her son
I think that it’s changed in so many ways. I was thinking about this the other day; we were just saying that your body does things that it would have never done before. It’s a miracle and incredible; bones and structures of your body move to new places! It’s like how?

Then I also breastfed; I don’t know if it’s a total myth but when you breast feed you kind of lose weight quicker.

On breastfeeding
I loved it. Well, there were a couple of things no one told you. I took this whole class too which I thought was really good because I think a lot of people think you’re just supposed to have this natural instinct that’s suppose to happen out of thin air. There’s a technique to learn and if you don’t know it, it’s not your fault. I was glad I did that because I felt kind of prepared a little bit. The whole engorgement thing, no one mentioned that part.

I remember I was in the bed and I couldn’t move because it hurts and there is no way around it. I delivered naturally and I kept asking myself, “What is wrong with you”? You spent hours and hours in labor and delivered naturally but you can’t take some [milk coming in.] They skipped that part; they didn’t tell me about that one.

On how she chose her son’s name Egypt
Well, Egypt was a really big important trip for me in my life. It came at a certain point where I had been working just endlessly and I really had no idea what it was to take a true vacation and it came to a place where I just really needed it or be on the verge of a break down. So when I went, it was such an uplifting, eye opening, historic, powerful and re-genitive experience that I hold a very fond place for Egypt. So when it came to naming our baby, I fell in love with it, we both loved it and decided like months before he was born.

On her decision to go to Egypt alone

At that time I just wanted to get away so badly that I was excited to be by myself. I think it’s something important because I think when you go places with people, you’re concerned about if they are having a good time or do they like the food I like or are they happy with this restaurant?

I would read my book in the little café that I went and the guy would come up to me and be like, “Are you waiting for someone?” and I’m like, “No, we’re here.” It was really liberating.

On her favorite position [random question]
Any and all sex positions. I happen to be a traditional kind of girl. I’m also experimental; we can have fun.

What would you tell your 14-year-old self? 
Reel it in. Come back. Don’t go so fast. Honestly, you don’t want to get there that fast. You think you want to get there that fast; you do, we all do but you don’t because once you’re there you’re like, “Damn, now I got to be here and I can’t be back there.”

Instead of just officially confirming that they are dating, Kanye and Kim have decided to just let their pap (paparazzi) photos tell all. The two were seen cuddling up at the Lakers playoff game this weekend.

It seems like everytime new photos are released we see that ‘KimYe’ are getting more and more serious.

Jay-Z has landed another big money making deal, and this time it’s with Bacardi! Jay-Z and Bacardi have teamed up to create a new Cognac that is fairly priced named D’usse (“dew-say”). Above is a picture of the new drink which is only $44.99.

Jay-Z introduced the new 750 ml bottle last night at a private event. 

Meek Mill is continuing to be on the rise. So to take his career to the next level he and his manager have decided to sign with Roc Nation Management. Perfect timing since his album is due at the end of the summer!

L+T: So you’re signed to Roc Nation management…
MM: Yeah, that’s the new deal I put together. Me coming up in this rap game, I was always an underground artist coming up by myself and making all of the moves by myself. And my manager – he’s just like me, we’ve been coming up in the streets by ourselves. So we just decided to partner up with Roc Nation and take things to another level.

Adrienne and Chris Bosh definitely made a cutie! The new parents released pictures of their new baby boy named Jackson Bosh. Wonder how tall he will be?

Model Alessandra Ambrosio and her husband Jamie Mazur welcomed a baby boy yesterday afternoon. Both mom and baby are doing well.

On whether she ever thought Q of Day 26 (Former boyfriend) was jealous of her success
No, I don’t think that I was elevating and he wasn’t. I just think it was just two different circumstances as well at two different ages. I think he was young and still trying to figure it out. It was just hard. I don’t think people will ever understand what he was going through because he was trying to be a man and at the same time he was trying to figure out what being a man was. So that’s hard to do. I think we were just on two different pages. I knew what this game was already. I was in a different place in my life, so I kind of knew how to take the blows better than he did. I just think I was playing a better game at chess than he was at the time.

On whether he was for real when he proposed to her on twitter
No, I think Twitter is the devil. Twitter is the devil! It’s like a hard thing because I think he was just excited about being in a relationship and I think we were both excited about it. He didn’t understand that we were being a normal couple and he didn’t understand that everything we were doing was being magnified to another place because we were already on TV. I think he was just like, ‘I love this girl and I want to marry her’ and I think people literally took that to a whole ‘other thing and it became something way more than it already was.

On whether she ever took his emotional break downs on ‘Making The Band’ as a weakness
No because I was there. I saw why! It wasn’t him being weak, it was him going through life.

On whether she is a ride or die chick [for Q]
No, I’m not a ride or die! I’m not even with him, I’m just being honest. I [don’t] have to lie. I mean he is a young twenty year old dude that [didn’t] really have that direction. No male figure at the time. He wasn’t with his father or his stepfather, he was on the road. You are losing money, you don’t really know what’ss going on, trusting everyone and everybody is backstabbing you. Some men act differently when they have a foundation and some n*ggas cry and that’s what he was doing.

On whether she dried his tears off
I dried mine, I was too busy.

On why the two broke up
He cheated. We talked about it and I know he is going to be mad like, ‘Yo why [did you do that?]’ but its real like it happens. We talked about it, it came at me and I made a choice. [He cheated] more than once. Different people.[…] God is good for me, man. I was praying and we were fighting and I was saying it kind of…. He really tries to be a good person and I think he got lost in it, that’s all. Honestly, I think I am enough and if I’m not then I’m not the chick you need to be rocking with and I made a choice. He ain’t a bad person.

On whether she ever cheated on him
No, that’s not my style. I’m a Leo we faithful and loyal.

On who she’s currently dating
I’m dating a producer, a guy that works under Polow. He is a rapper/ producer but we are just dating and seeing where it goes. I need for somebody to understand that my career is so first right now. I have to be the label right now so whatever I was doing before I’m doubling that. My hustle and my grind is….I don’t sleep, and so for me the best that I think I can do right now is start to feel comfortable with trusting again. So, that’s a great thing right now and I don’t really have time to be more than that.
On what made her date someone from industry again
He just has a way of [being persistent]. He is a very persistent guy so… [laughs].

On where he is from
Atlanta.

On whether she wants to reveal the name
Nah, I’m good. I’mma try to private things.

I am really hoping that this wedding was a stunt or something because it is absolutely TACKY. The “b*tch who runs L.A” and Bad Girls Club star Natalie Nunn has reportedly wed her footballer fiance Jacob Payne this past weekend. Mind you Payne is only 21 while Nunn is 27, he is really ready for commitment?
