E! News Host Giuliana Rancic and her husband Bill have finally welcomed their first child via gestational carrier. Their new son Edward Duke has been the new joy in the couple’s lives since he entered the world late last month.

But, how are the new parents handling parenthood?

Well Giuliana tells the mag, “I had always heard that when you have a baby it completes your life — and it’s true, I love my baby, and I love my new role.”

Because Giuliana has suffered some major health problems such as battling breast cancer, the host tells the mag that even the simpliest parenting duties excite her. “I’d never changed more than a diaper or two in my life,” she laughs. “Now it’s like the littlest things that make me happy — happier than I’ve ever been.”

Her hubby Bill chimes in saying,  “It’s amazing how maternal instincts have taken over, and Giuliana’s just supermom, It literally brought tears to my eyes the other day watching her with Duke.”
